This blog serves as a "feeder" to the domain, providing updates on Aditya Vittal's musical journey!

Aditya Vittal - aged 19 years, and hailing from Bangalore, lives and breathes music. With a background of Hindustani Classical Music (vocal), he also believes in nurturing himself on other genres of music like Jazz, Sufi, Folk, Film and Devotional. He sings in multiple languages (Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Marathi, Punjabi, English), and also plays multiple instruments (Harmonium, Keyboard, Trombone and Trumpet).

Tutored by Pt. Shripad Gaddi ji (Hubli - Kirana Gharana), he has performed in many temples / religious institutions. Alongside his classical training, Aditya has had the good fortune of being mentored by maestros like Kishore Sodha ji (for Trumpet) and Blasco Monsorate sir (for Trombone).

In addition to regularly performing in events on the Bangalore & Mumbai music circuits, he has also sung in hallmark concerts of great artistes (like “50 years of singing” by Dr. SP Balasubhramanyam, “25 years of singing” by Shaan, etc.), and has performed live in concert in the presence of legendary composer Khayyam Sahab.

Very recently his voice was used to record and playback the Indian National Anthem (for a successful mountaineering expedition in Antarctica) for the very first time.

Aditya is now based out of Mumbai, and is undergoing further training in music there. He can be reached at anup.vittal@yahoo.com
